BOARD POLICY
SOFTWARE AND ELECTRONIC RESOURCES
The Oak Lawn Public Library uses computer software and electronic resources produced by a number of companies. In all cases, the Library intends to fully abide by all prevailing license and copyright regulations. Staff who use software or electronic resources owned by the Library are expected to comply with the license regulations noted on the software or resource and with established copyright law. Strict adherence to the law regarding use of software and electronic resources is required of all staff. Failure by staff to comply with established license regulations and copyright law in use of software and electronic resources may result in disciplinary action or legal prosecution.
