BOARD POLICY
CONFERENCES AND MEMBERSHIPS FOR TRUSTEES
Conferences
Registration fees and expenses for transportation and lodging along with actual expenses for meals (excluding alcoholic beverages) will be reimbursed to Trustees of the Oak Lawn Public Library attending conferences in compliance with State law and contingent upon the availability of funds. Out of pocket expenses must be fully accounted for with receipts before reimbursement is received. Trustees will give a verbal report at the next regular Board Meeting.
Memberships
Trustee membership dues may be paid by the Oak Lawn Public Library for organizations such as the Illinois Library Association, the Public Library Association, and the American Library Association. All memberships are contingent on availability of funds.
