Program Description

Event Details

Arden Courts Memory Care is proud to offer the Alzheimer's Foundation of America's National Memory Screening. A memory screening is a series of questions and tasks designed to gauge memory, language, and thinking skills. Screening last just 5-10 minutes, and while the results are not a diagnosis, scoring below the normal threshold can signal that someone should follow up with a clinician for a full evaluation. There are a number of reasons a person could be experiencing memory issues, including vitamin deficiencies, thyroid problems, and depression.

Registration is required for this program. Registrants will be scheduled at 30-minute intervals during the day. To schedule a free, confidential memory screening, please contact Meghan Moran at 708-422-4990 ext. 630.
