Event Details

Make a gingerbread house at home with your family and enter our contest! Drop off your completed house at the Youth Services Desk from Nov. 17 – Dec. 1, and your fellow community members will vote on them! Submissions should have a footprint no larger than 18 by 18 inches. 

  • Monday, Nov. 17 through Monday, Dec. 1: Gingerbread houses should be dropped off at the Youth Services desk, where participants will fill out a permission slip to display their entry in the department.
  • Tuesday, Dec. 2 – Tuesday, Dec. 9: Vote for your favorite gingerbread house!
  • Wednesday, Dec. 10 : We’ll announce the top three finishers! The three winning families will each receive a 12-inch Squishmallow. All the gingerbread houses will remain on display until the pickup period begins.
  • Thursday, Dec. 18 – Monday, Dec. 22: Pickup period for gingerbread house entries.
