Who Would Win?

Ages 5-8
Monday, Jan. 30, 4:30-5:15pm

Put your skills to the test. You’ll learn about two opposing animals, and do an activity using various characteristics of your assigned animal to see who would win. We will distribute admission tickets at the Youth Services Desk 30 minutes before the start of the program.

Stories, songs, and movement, supporting literacy development and learning in young children.To promote independence, we encourage children to attend without caregivers. All storytimes are ticketed programs. We will distribute admission tickets at the Youth Services Desk 30 minutes before the start of the program.

Wednesday, Feb. 1, All Day

The kits will include props, snacks and other fun family-friendly activities to keep everyone engaged with the movie. Activities were designed for ages 4 and up. One kit per family, while supplies last.

A fidget bracelet is a fidget toy you can carry with you anywhere! Make your very own colorful and stylish fidget bracelet to wear anytime! We will distribute admission tickets at the Youth Services Desk 30 minutes before the start of the program.

Every year we use a groundhog to forecast when spring will come. This year, explore other strange ways we predict the future. Learn about the Zodiacs and design your own future-predicting animal! We will distribute admission tickets at the Youth Services Desk 30 minutes before the start of the program.

Volunteer Opportunity: Happy Birthday, Elmo!

Ages 11-14
Saturday, Feb. 4, 9:15-11:15am

Earn community service time by helping us with children’s programs. Volunteer if you enjoy spending time with young children and are good at working independently. Register at cal.olpl.org up to 10 days before the date of the program.
