Creating your character is the first step in every D&D adventure for the players. Dungeon Master Dave Hansen will guide you through choosing your character’s background, skillset, appearance, personality, and add in a backstory.

Mikayla Wolford, a longtime hip-hop dancer and performer with two K-pop ensembles leads teens in some dances and Random Play Dance. K-pop is a vigorous activity—attendees participate at their own risk.

Chicago’s favorite balloon artist Smarty Pants arrives at the Oak Lawn Public Library just in time for Fan Fest vol 7 – Guardians of the Galaxy!

Join Smarty Pants as he combines his dual loves of balloon art and the Marvel Cinematic Universe, to create the most amazing superhero themed balloon sculptures ever seen in this galaxy!

From 11:30 am – 1:30 pm, patrons of all ages will be entertained and engaged, as Smarty Pants turns ordinary balloons into an assemblage of Marvel’s greatest hits –  everything from a balloon replica of the legendary Infinity Gauntlet, to Starlord’s jetpack to a full sized Iron Man suit, made entirely of balloons!

Some lucky volunteers attending the library will even have an opportunity to become part of Smarty’s balloon show!

Note: Not all patrons will receive a balloon, but all will be entertained!

Prism Kru is a K-Pop dance team from Chicago, Illinois that was established in 2013. They have opened up for Korean artists such as San E, Mad Clown, Hyuna, Nada, and as well as American artist H.E.R.  They have performed and placed 1st in competitions all over the US as well as internationally as one of the World Champions at the 2022 K-Pop Cover Dance Festival held in South Korea.  Prism Kru strives to connect Korean pop culture with Western culture through their high energy performances.
