If you turn 18 before November 6, 2018...
...you can vote in this month's primary elections!
If you turn 18 before November 6, 2018, YOU CAN STILL VOTE IN THE PRIMARIES.
The Primary Election is on March 20, 2018. You have to be registered online by March 4th in order to vote in the primaries: https://ova.elections.il.gov/ .
You can also vote early! Illinois doesn’t even care why you’re voting early. You can even do it THE DAY BEFORE the election. Just stop by the Village of Oak Lawn .
Forgot to register and missed the March 4th deadline? There is Grace Period Registration and Voting - two for one deal! Stop by the Village of Oak Lawn any time before March 19th with two pieces of identification , get registered and vote on the spot.
If you have a driver's license or state ID card, your second form of ID can be your debit card or your school ID.
Need some help? Ballotpedia is your friend ! They have information on Republican and Democratic primaries, including judges, municipal government, and detailed narratives about the general atmosphere of this election.
