Business Programs & Events

OLPL partners with local businesses to provide interesting and educational programs and discussions that highlight your area of expertise. Hosting and presenting a program at the Library is a great way to expand your clientele locally and showcase your area of expertise. Chamber Partnership

The Library partners with the Oak Lawn Chamber of Commerce and the local business community. We sit on the Board of the Chamber, provide meeting space for Chamber events and business members, and co-sponsor local events and programs. Chamber members and local business owners can reserve meeting room space in one of our four meeting rooms in the basement of the Library. Watch this space for cooperative business events we offer.

OLPL offers local businesses a variety of online and physical resources that will help your business grow.

Access to these great resources only requires an Oak Lawn Library card. Any Oak Lawn business owner can visit the Library, show a business invoice or tax bill, and show a photo I.D. To apply for a card, click HERE.

Small Business COVID-19 Relief Program

The Business Invest – Illinois Small Business COVID-19 Relief Program is an impact investment loan program under which the State Treasurer has made up to $250 million in deposits available to financial institutions throughout the state, at near-zero rates, to assist Illinois small business and non-profits negatively affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. The purpose of this funding is to provide vital economic support for small businesses and non-profits throughout Illinois to help overcome the loss of revenue they are experiencing.
